Hypnotherapy &

The Subconscious World

My approach to Hypnosis is gentle and feels similarly to a deep guided meditation.

Sessions are 70 min and I am with you every step of the way, navigating the mind as we ride the waves of wiring & gather a better understanding of you in the present and who you are becoming.

What We Offer

Rewiring Patterns

Much of what we perform in our day to day involve repetitive habits that then become part of our lifestyle. All these automatic movements are guided by one of the most powerful inner forces which drive human behavior – the subconscious mind (also commonly referred to as the non-conscious mind). Together, we form a plan to rewire any blocks and disruptions in your life, creating new patterns that fire towards a path more aligned with your truth.

Inner Child Work

Inner child work involves consciously reconnecting with and healing this vulnerable part of ourselves. By acknowledging and addressing the unmet needs and emotional wounds of our inner child, we aim to bring about healing, growth, and greater emotional resilience in adulthood. I look forward to guiding you through the inner child journey safely, allowing you to lay the child to rest as the future self continues to grow.

Past Life Regression

Past life regression is a therapeutic or spiritual technique that aims to access and explore memories or experiences from supposed previous lifetimes. The practice is based on the belief in reincarnation, which suggests that the soul undergoes multiple lifetimes, each with its own unique set of experiences and lessons. PLR helps us understand more about ourselves in our current life, allowing us to have more empathy and acceptance of our current state.

How Hypnosis Impacts The Brain

During hypnosis, specific brain regions are known to be activated, as evidenced by various neuro-imaging studies. Though the research on this topic is ongoing, some consistent findings have emerged. Here's a brief understanding of the brain regions involved in hypnosis:

  1. Prefrontal Cortex (PFC): The prefrontal cortex is responsible for decision-making, attention, and self-awareness. During hypnosis, this region tends to show reduced activity, suggesting a temporary decrease in self-consciousness and enhanced focus on the hypnotic experience.

  2. Anterior Cingulate Cortex (ACC): The ACC plays a role in processing emotions, conflict monitoring, and error detection. During hypnosis, this area may exhibit altered activity, leading to reduced perception of pain and increased acceptance of suggestions.

  3. Posterior Cingulate Cortex (PCC): The PCC is associated with self-referential thoughts and mind wandering. During hypnosis, the activity in this region might decrease, contributing to the sense of detachment from external distractions.

  4. Hippocampus: The hippocampus is vital for memory formation and retrieval. During hypnosis, some studies suggest that it could undergo changes, potentially influencing the way memories are accessed or even enhancing the recall of certain memories.

  5. Thalamus: The thalamus acts as a relay center for sensory information. In hypnosis, its activity may be altered, which could lead to changes in perception and the way hypnotic suggestions are processed.

  6. Default Mode Network (DMN): The DMN is a set of brain regions that are active when the mind is at rest and not focused on the external environment. During hypnosis, the DMN may show reduced connectivity, which is associated with the subjective experience of altered consciousness and absorption in the hypnotic state.

It's essential to note that the neurobiology of hypnosis is a complex and evolving area of research as we still have much to explore about consiousness. Different individuals might experience variations in brain activity during hypnosis, and the exact neural mechanisms behind hypnotic phenomena are still being explored.

My approach to hypnosis is to keep you in a state where you are aware and relaxed so your body allows itself to rest while we make important changes that can impact your future self in the most positive way.
